mTw to DH Summer Grand Final

mTw have booked a slot for the DreamHack MSI Championship following their 2-1 victory over ESC Gaming.

mTw opened up the match by stating a 5-0 lead against ESC Gaming. As the latter side secured three rounds, mTw continued triumphing on their way to the first half-time's closure, 12-3.

Following the act of switching sides, mTw only let their challengers get a hold of one single round, while the Danish team took out four rounds to secure the victory at 16-4 on de_inferno.

Now on de_train, mTw started out heavily with a great pistol round which led them into the lead and rewarded them the advantage. But, in the fourth round, ESC Gaming mounted a comeback. ESC Gaming now started hitting their shots and breezed past mTw, setting the score 8-4. The Scandinavian team continued in the same manner and eventually sealed the first half at 10-5.In the first round after switching sides, Oliver "minet" Minet defended the inner bombsite in style, preventing four of ESC Gaming's players from busting a move.However, an early purchase from the latter paid dividends as four mTw players were taken down and Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen was forced to pull back.While ESC Gaming made it to 15 rounds won, a comeback by mTw seemed to be en route, but the former ultimately claimed the second map as theirs at 16-9. Now on de_nuke, both teams ran an equal race in terms of rounds to start out with, while mTw stepped up their game in the latter part of the half-time, sealing it at 10-5.Switching sides, the round sharing from the former half-time was repeated, with both teams securing three rounds each. However, it would be mTw who secured the next two rounds, winning the match at 16-8.
